JOHANNESBURG - Trucking Associations have been warning about the impact of the weather on their operations.

Unusually, heavy snowfall has been lashing several provinces, leaving many stranded, with emergency services scrambling to reach people in their vehicles.

Some drivers were stranded on closed sections of the N3.
