UIF | Online services down after service provider interdicted

JOHANNESBURG - If you need help from the Unemployment Insurance Fund, you will have to go into one of its offices.

The fund's online services are down after its new service provider was interdicted.

u-Filing, USSD and Covid-19 TERS systems have all been affected.

The Unemployment Department says capacity at service points have been increased and hours extended.

UIF Commissioner Teboho Maruping said payments are not affected.

"Payments are going through as normal, the only thing is you can't apply online," he said.
