JOHANNESBURG - The Rand is getting stronger and stronger.
It has improved to a nearly 13-month high, ahead of domestic inflation data on Wednesday.
The currency traded firmer at R17.73c against the US dollar.
This is a level not seen since late July 2023.
The greenback meanwhile, was down 0.46% against a basket of global currencies.
Investors are set to look at SA's July inflation figures this week, for hints on the Reserve Bank's future interest rates path.
