Oil prices in a global decline

JOHANNESBURG - Oil prices around the world continue to decline.

That is good news for consumers as the drop could positively impact inflation, fuel prices and interest rates.

The repo rate was kept unchanged this month while inflation slowed in June.

Data from the Central Energy fund suggests that fuel prices will also be decreasing in August.
