G20 meeting a success, says Godongwana

CAPE TOWN - Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana says the G20 Summit -- which wrapped up on Thursday -- was a success.

The minister says it wasn't a crisis that some countries, like the US, sent representatives instead of ministers.

South Africa says it will be keeping an eye on the threat of tariffs being imposed and the cutting off of financial aid from the US.

The next G20 meeting will be held in April in Washington.
