Cape Town to beef up security over festive season

CAPE TOWN - The City of Cape Town says its multi-million rand investment on festive season safety, will be money well spent.

There have been worrying attacks on tourists around the City, prompting travel alerts from the UK, US and Germany.

However, authorities are now tightening up security ahead of the festive season.

This time around, there will be collaboration between SanParks, the City's law enforcement agencies, the SAPS and neighbourhood watch groups.
