Budget 2025 | Kids have big ideas for government spending

JOHANNESBURG - When it comes to how government should spend our money, little minds have some pretty big ideas.

From Grade R and Grade 1's perspective, South Africa needs some noodles, bigger guns for soldiers, more teachers, hospitals, job opportunities, and, if all else fails, full access to the president’s 'cupboard' of money!

While there’s still a lot for them to learn about budgeting, one thing is clear, our children know what truly matters for the future.

eNCA anchor Jenna-Leigh Bilong took a little field trip to St. Theresa’s School in Craighall Park, where she broke down the budget with these kids.
