NMB loses R800 million to illegal connections
GQEBERHA - Power utility Eskom has lost over R800m to consumers who've bypassed prepaid electricity metres in Nelson Mandela Bay. This was confirmed by the mayor.
The mayor says residents who've bypassed their meters are the ones who're still standing in long queues at their offices to have their prepaid electricity meters updated at the eleventh hour.
