City Power has embarked on a cut-off operation targeting big businesses, complexes and individual homes.
The power supplier says it’s losing tens of millions annually due to non-payment of pre-paid electricity.
Illegal connections put a strain on electricity infrastructure which leads to unplanned power outages.
