JOHANNESBURG - Legal expert, Ulrich Roux, says suspended Public Protector, Busisiwe Mkhwebane's court bid isn't an urgent matter.

Mkhwebane wants Friday's Western Cape High Court order, ruling her suspension invalid, enforced.

She was suspended by President Cyril Ramaphosa around three-months ago.

Legal expert Ulrich Roux said, "the cracks comes in whether there's actually urgency in the application she launched yesterday..."

"I have difficult in seeing that the court will rule that it is in fact a matter that should be heard in urgent basis."

"One would have to wait and see whether she successfully proves urgency. The fact that there's an acting PP who has been appointed, could point to the fact that there's no such urgency."
