JOHANNESBURG - The Health Department is confident that all South Africans will have access to better healthcare by 2030.
Dr Aquina Thulare said this ahead of the high-level Universal Health Coverage seminar by the department and the World Health Organisation.

"We have outlined the road map towards universal health coverage, of course it is a goal it is a journey we aspire to," she said.
"By 2030, the whole country should be enjoying universal health coverage."
The seminar is expected to focus heavily on the Covid-19 pandemic.
A report released by the Rural Health Advocacy Project shows how the pandemic has compromised South Africa's healthcare system.
It's also highlighted grave inequalities in the system.
