Tavern Tragedy | Forensic perspective on suffocation

 

JOHANNESBURG - The 21 teens who died at the Enyobeni Tavern in the Eastern Cape succumbed to suffocation. That's according to a toxicology report.

It's been a 3-month wait for parents to hear how their children died in the June tragedy.

Parents are not completely satisfied with the explanation.

One forensic pathologist says it's not surprising all of them died that way.
