Protest action | Army deployment unnecessary: Makhubela

JOHANNESBURG - RiskRecon director, Kingsley Makhubela believes deployment of the SA National Defence Force was not a good move.

He says it sends the wrong message to the rest of the world.

He said, ''deployment of the army in my own view was unnecessary, it says we're a country at war."

"[And] now we're gonna expect more from police, to say why can't you do more like what you did on the 20th, providing protection to the general public."
