JOHANNESBURG - The African National Congress (ANC) heads to its Elective Conference with more of the same names emerging as frontrunners for its top 6 positions.
These are members that have occupied senior positions in the party and on average form part of the older crop of leaders.
What does this say of the generational mix that the party’s youth league has been advocating for and the need for young people to take leadership positions?
The ANC acknowledges that for it to remain relevant for current and future generations, other generations must come through.
