Police arrest more people at Beitbridge border post

More arrests overnight and this morning at the Beitbridge border post. People were trying to get into South Africa illegally. JOHANNESBURG - Police have made more arrests at the Beitbridge border post.

People were trying to get into South Africa illegally.

Meanwhile, the Home Affairs Portfolio Committee has visited the Lebombo border post on Wednesday.

Twenty land ports of entry are closed as lockdown level 3 continues.

Earlier this week police arrested about 80 people who were trying to enter the country illegally at the Lebombo border post.
