JOHANNESBURG - One person was injured after a petrol station forecourt roof collapsed in Sharpeville, south of Johannesburg on Friday.
The area has been experiencing heavy rains and strong winds.
Three occupants of the bus and minibus taxi trapped under the collapsed structure escaped with minor injuries.
An occupant of the small vehicle, also trapped under the structure, was taken to hospital.
A local mall, as well as stores in Emfuleni, have also fallen victim of the heavy hailstorm from early Friday afternoon.
