Mumbai - The Mumbai Indians handed the Delhi Daredevils their third straight defeat of the tournament.

After losing Ricky Ponting and Sachin Tendulkar for just one run, the home side rallied with some big hitting.

Dinesh Karthik and Rohit Sharma smashed a 133-run partnership.

Karthik eventually fell for 86, while Sharma finished unbeaten on 74 as Mumbai made 209 for five.

Delhi never came close to chasing that massive target, finishing on 165 for nine, Mumbai winning by 44 runs.
