Pheko takes action off air

Johannesburg – Three years ago the death of Eugene Terre'blanche opened up old wounds.

What was meant to be a simple open debate on race relations in post-apartheid South Africa turned into a heated confrontation on the set of Africa 360.

The current-affairs programme had political analyst Liepollo Pheko and AWB Secretary-General Andre Visagie as guests on the show.

The discussion escalated and Visagie stormed off set, turning to the analyst and threatening, “I’m not finished with you”.

Three years later Pheko is formally laying charges of intimidation against Visagie, but she is adamant it's not a publicity stunt.
