Peaches and Herb perform in Cape Town

Cape Town, May 4 – Fans of old-school soul music are being treated to a blast form the past. Duo Peaches and Herb are performing in Cape Town on Saturday. eNCA

Cape Town - The sounds of Peaches and Herb have been around since the sixties, and lucky Capetonians are in for a treat as the group perform a once-off show.

Peaches & Herb began their spectacular rise in 1976 with Let’s Fall in Love.

The original Peaches passed away in 2005, but Herbert Freemster (Herb) found a local talent to fill those big shoes.

"I always wanted to keep the name going, fortunately we found Wonda and she is the new Peaches, I say new but we've been working together three, four years, so she's here I'm here and we ready to go."
