JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Education says it did not sanction a deadly school trip to Centurion.
Two Daveyton Skills School pupils drowned on Monday at a discipline camp.
It's alleged that one of the pupils suddenly ran towards a river near the campsite entrance after activities concluded.

A second pupil followed in an attempt to bring him back. Unfortunately, the pair drowned as a result.
MEC Matome Chiloane is visiting the school on Wednesday.
He said it is important that schools be more cautious when it comes to planning these excursions.
