Discussion | Case of rape accused SAPS training officer postponed

PRETORIA - A police training instructor is behind bars on allegations of sexually assaulting a female trainee at the SAPS Academy in Philippi, Cape Town.

The alleged rape was referred to the Independent Police Investigative Directorate for investigation,
after the victim reported it.

The suspect appeared at the Wynberg Magistrate's Court on Monday where the case was postponed to 2 May.
