JOHANNESBURG - Former President Jacob Zuma's disciplinary hearing will only take place after the elections.

The ANC says this is to avoid violence ahead of the elections.

Zuma was to appear on Tuesday after being charged with contravening the ANC’s constitution.

He was suspended in January after publicly announcing his support for the Umkhonto weSizwe party.
