Eastern Cape pupils left stranded as taxi operators down tools

EAST LONDON - East London pupils will have to walk or find alternative transport to and from school on Thursday.

This after minibuses contracted to take them to school hit the brakes over unpaid monies.

This is due, once again, to a dispute between Eastern Cape Transport and service providers.

There are also reports that some schools have decided to close their doors due to the strike.
